TIMER

You may set the TV/VCR to record while you are away.
You can set 8 programs to record on a specific day,
daily or weekly within a 1 year period.

In the example below, the timer is being set to record:

NOTE:

 You must use the remote control for this

procedure.

Make sure . . .

Be sure the clock is set to the correct time and date
before setting the timer.
Power must be turn on to set automatic timer
recording.
Insert a cassette tape with its erase prevention tab in
place. (If necessary, rewind or fast forward the tape
to the point at which you want to begin recording.)

Avoid over lap of programs...

 

There is a case that a program will not be performed.
when programs overlap; 

The program that the start time is set earlier has
priority.
When the earliest program has finished and the
programs which should start still overlap, the
recording will start in order of the program number.
If you programmed as the illustration, the timer
recording would be carried out as follows (shaded
part is the carried period): 

9:00AM - 10:00AM   for PROGRAM 2
10:00AM                    for PROGRAM 1

1 Select "TIMER PROGRAMMING"

Press MENU button to point to
"TIMER PROGRAMMING".
And press SEL. button.

When you did not set the
clock, "SETTING CLOCK"
appears. If so, follow page 11
to set the clock and repeat from step [3].

2 Select your desired program number (1~8)

The program number which is not set up flashes

When Timer Recording has
already been filled, "PROG.
12345678" appears. If so,
press MENU button to return
the TV mode.

Press C/P     or     button
repeatedly until your desired
program number is appeared.
(Example: 4)
And press SEL. button.

3 Select once, every day or weekly recording

For once recording:

Press C/P     (up) button
repeatedly until your desired
date is appeared. (Example:
"05/06" for May 6th) and
press SEL. button.

For every day recording: To record a TV program at
the same time on the same channel every day.
(Example: Monday through Sunday)

Press C/P     (down) button
repeatedly until "EVERY
DAY" is appeared. And press
SEL. button.

For weekly recording: To record a TV program at
same time on the same channel every week.
(Example: every Monday on channel 7 at 17:00)

Press C/P     (down) button
repeatedly until "EVERY"
and your desired day of the
week is appeared together.
And press SEL. button.
