IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Whenever electrical appliances are used, certain basic safety precautions must be observed, which include the following:
1. Carefully read these instructions before using the appliance.
2. Keep the appliance out of children’s reach.
3. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse in water or other liquids or use in places where it could get wet (water splashes,
etc.) and do not use with wet hands.
4. Do not use oil in the popcorn making chamber.
5. Unplug from the mains when it is not being used, during storage, before fitting or removing attachments, and before
cleaning.
6. If the appliance has been dropped or is damaged, it should not be used again until it has been
examined by a professional technician.
7. Do not leave the power cord touching hot objects. Ask a professional technician to replace immediately a worn or
damaged power cord with another one of the same size and authorised type.
8. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose. Use the original attachments supplied by the
manufacturer or an authorised distributor.
9. This appliance should not be used outdoors or placed near a hot gas or electric cooker or placed in a hot oven.
10. Do not use under or near inflammable materials, such as curtains or cloth hangings or any other type of combustible
material.
11. Do not leave the power cord hanging over the edge of a table or counter.
12. Do not leave any electrical appliance unsupervised while it is plugged in to the mains.
13. This appliance is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
14. Make sure that the popcorn maker has cooled completely before putting it away.
15. If the appliance is going to be used by someone else, please show them this instructions manual.
16. No liability will be accepted for any damage caused by not following these instructions or any
other inappropriate use or incorrect handling.
17. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorised technical service or a qualified
technician to prevent hazards.
18. This product should not be used by children or other people without assistance or supervision if they have physical,
sensorye or mental disabilities that hamper safe use by them. Children should be supervised to make sure that they do
not play with the product.
