Selecting menu items
Many applications have menus to give you
access to additional features. These menus
are usually hidden from view, but they
appear when you press the Menu
key
in the lower-right corner of the keyboard.

Press
Menu
to display an
application’s menus.

Right
and
Left
to switch
between menus.

Press
Up
and
Down
to highlight a
menu item.

Press
Center
to select the menu
item, or press
Menu
to close the
menu and cancel your selection.
Menu shortcut
TIP
Most menu items have a shortcut. To use
a menu shortcut, press
Menu
+
the shortcut
letter
. You don’t have to open a menu to use a
menu shortcut. For example, in Calendar, you
can press
Menu
+
N
to create a new event.
