Lubrication and Final Inspection 

 

1.  Open platform and raise lift gate to bed level 

2.  Remove red caps, apply grease until grease begins to flow from bushing ends  

3.  Lower platform to ground and repeat 

4.  Fold platform onto wheel and grease platform pins again 

5.  Cycle platform open and closed several times and grease again 

6.  Wipe excess grease from joints and replace ALL red caps 

7.  Check ALL pin bolts for proper torque of 14 ft-lbs 

8.  Paint all welded areas and area that have been scratched during installation 

 

 

 

 

Note:  Do not paint plastic wheel or chrome hydraulic shafts 

9.   Remove any overspray from cylinder shafts 

10. Check for any wires or hoses that may rub during operation.   

11. Re-route and/or tie up as necessary 

12. Lower platform completely to ground 

13. Remove pump/motor cover and check oil level with platform on ground
