Traceroute
A
traceroute
maps the route packets take between this device and the specified
destination, along with latency values. It’s useful for diagnosing where connection
problems are within a network and even across the internet, identifying traffic
bottlenecks and obstacles.
To run a traceroute:
1.
Go to Management > Diagnostics, then click the Traceroute tab.
2.
Enter the IP address or a domain name to run a traceroute on.
SNMP
SNMP (simple network management protocol) is a TCP/IP protocol used to
manage and monitor network devices.
To set SNMP information for this device:
1.
Go to Management > SNMP.
2.
Change settings, as needed:
•
Location: Enter the physical location of the AP as a reference.
•
Contact: Enter the contact information of the installer or network
administrator for the SNMP manager.
•
Description: Enter in a description of the device. The default
description is
