NOTE:
Ball bearings must never be filled more than 40 %. Overfeeding of ball bearings
causes overheating and damages bearings and axles.
3 x presses on the manual oil sprayer for bearing SNF 511 + 513
1 x press on the manual oil sprayer for bearing SAF 208 (guide roller)
Grease:
Industrial grease of min. 30-150 g to be used.
Suitable for ball bearings with high capacity.
Instructions for long standstill
Prior to a long standstill the equipment must be totally cleaned of corrosive materials. When using a high
pressure cleaner you must be aware that the ball bearings cannot stand the direct, high pressure.
When the equipment is started again, you must control for loose parts in the hopper, worn cables and whether
the belt is properly tightened.
Trouble shooting
Start: Motor stands still
Note: firstly disconnect the power supply!
Is the inlet in the hopper blocked
(
Note
: pull out the connector before operating)
Main switch and fuses must be controlled.
(eventually inspected by an electrician)
Defect wirings need an electrician.
Moves too slowly.
Side rubber touches too much
(
Note:
pull out the connector before
operating) A phase 380 V is missing
(electrician is needed)
Too short throwing length.
Control: - V-belts and possibly tighten them up.
- belt and possibly tighten up.
Overfill: not so much material in the hopper
Control bearings. They might be overheated due to overfeeding (to be
replaced)
Belt is running skew.
Control: - if all rolls are running parallel and are fixed.
-
if the grain thrower is filled exactly in the transport direction.
-
if the grain thrower is equally filled.
Equipment is vibrating/trembling. Control: - transport drum and rolls (possibly to be cleaned)
-
belt for damages (possibly to be replaced)
-
if bearings are defect or overheated (possibly to be replaced)
