Using Your Microwave

Quickly and conveniently heat or cook delicious food  

in your PADERNO

TM

 1.3-Cu. Ft. Microwave Oven with  

Even-heat Inverter.

Before First Use

Refer to the Cleaning & Maintenance 

section of this manual. Clean the appliance 

thoroughly before first use. Remove all 

packing material and accessories. Examine 

the microwave oven for any damage. Do not 

install if microwave oven is damaged. 

Turntable Installation
1. 

Never place the glass tray upside down. 

The glass tray should never be restricted.

2. 

Both glass tray and turntable ring 

assembly must always be used during 

cooking. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Countertop Installation
1. 

Select a level surface that provides 

enough open space for the intake and 

outlet vents. 

a.  There must be at least  

 7.5 cm (3”) of clearance between  

 the oven and any adjacent walls,  

 leaving one side open. 

b. There must be a clearance of at  

 least 30 cm (12”) above the oven. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

c. Do not remove the legs from the  

 bottom of the oven. 

d. Blocking the intake and/or outlet  

 openings can damage the oven. 

e. Place the oven as far away from  

 radios and televisions as possible.  

 Operation of microwave oven may  

 cause interference to your radio  

 or television reception.

2. 

Plug your oven into a standard 

household outlet. Be sure the voltage 

and the frequency is the same as the 

voltage and the frequency on the rating 

label. 

WARNING:

 Do not install oven over a 

range cooktop or other heat-producing 

appliance. If installed near or over a heat 

source, the oven could be damaged and 

the warranty would be void.

Setting the Clock
1. 

Press the Settings & Lock button on 

the control panel. The time will flash to 

indicate it can be selected.

2. 

Rotate the dial to adjust the hours, and 

click the dial to confirm the selection.
