Protective helmets for structural firefighting

No helmet can protect the wearer against all possible types of impacts.

Do not modify or remove parts or add accessories which are not
approved by the manufacturer. Replace harness and other components
as recommended by manufacturer.

Helmet and face shield may be seriously damaged by certain
substances. Manufacturer’s instructions should be followed for cleaning
and maintenance.

This helmet must be properly adjusted and secured to the head, with all
components in place, to provide the designed level of protection.

For maximum retention, the helmet must fit firmly on the head, and all
retention straps must be securely fastened.

No attachments should be added nor any alterations made to the helmet
except those recommended by the helmet manufacturer.

If replacement of any components of the harness is necessary, the
complete harness should be replaced.
