Protection from electromagnetic interference
Always position the radio as far as possible away from:
• Other antennas, particularly transmitting antennas
• Electrical
generators/alternators
• Regulated power supplies
• Rotating beacons, strobe lights
Pinouts and Connectors
The radio uses a Turck 8-pin circular data/power connector. For a mating connector,
Pacific Crest recommends using a Turck RSS 8T, or equivalent.
The following table shows the radio’s pin assignments:
