No power or function
a. Unit is disconnected
from a main electrical
power supply.
a. Verify electrical
source and connection.
b. Main power switch is
off.
b. Turn on main power
switch.
c. Emergency stop
button engaged.
c. Release by turning
clockwise.
d. Magnetic switch not
engaged.
d. Close hood or adjust
hood in closed position.
e. Shut off switch
engaged.
e. Lift specimen holder
arm or adjust shut-off
screw to be higher.
f. Loose or broken wire.
Disconnect power and
open side access
panel. Check for any
loose or broken wires at
the 110/220 V switch
and power switch.
g. Unable to determine
problem.
g. Contact service
technician.
Main motor does not
operate
a. Hood not closed.
a. Close hood.
b. Overload activated
(error E1).
b. Press stop button
and then start button.
c. Transformer switch
not set to the correct
voltage.
