Procedure in the case of a blockage:
Press the emergency stop/red button as soon as possible.
Remove the plug from the socket.
Step away from the log saw until the saw blade has stopped completely.
Remove the guard as described in the next section – Replacing the saw
blade.
Remove the blockage.
Replace the guards.
Cleaning and maintenance
Replacing the saw blade:
DANGER!

Switch off the machine and remove the cable from the socket

Let the blade cool before changing it

Do not use flammable liquids to clean the saw blade

Always use gloves when handling the saw blade

Pull down the bottom guard of the outer guard.
2.
Loosen the flange screw by turning it anti-clockwise and remove the flange screw and
outer flange from the motor axle.
3.
The saw blade can now be removed from the motor axle.
Remember to clean the inner flange, outer flange and flange screw thoroughly before
reassembly.
4.
Insert the new saw blade and follow the above steps in reverse order. Tighten the
flange screw.
5.
Make sure you adjust the position of the blade so the blade is centred exactly and the
inner guard does not touch the outer guard on any side.
