The inlet strainer is clogged
or the suction hose is not
submerged in the paint.
Clean the strainer and make
sure the suction hose is
submerged in the paint.
The inlet valve ball or seat is
dirty.
Remove the valve and clean
or replace the ball or seat.
The suction hose is leaking.
Inspect the hose for cracks
or other damage.
The return valve ball is stuck. Unscrew the valve and clean
it.
The Prime/Spray valve is
worn or clogged with dirt.
Contact an authorised
workshop.
The pump is primed but
cannot create a good spray
pattern.
The nozzle may be partially
clogged.
Clean the nozzle.
The rotary nozzle is in the
UNCLOG position.
Turn the arrow-shaped
handle on the nozzle holder
so it points forward to the
SPRAY position.
Impurities in the paint.
Strain the paint.
The pressure control is set
too low.
Increase the pressure.
The spray gun filter is
clogged.
Clean or replace the filter in
the gun.
The nozzle is too big in
relation to the equipment
capacity.
Replace the nozzle.
The nozzle is worn so it is no
longer suitable for the
equipment capacity.
Replace the nozzle.
The nozzle gasket and seal
are worn or missing entirely.
Replace the gasket and seal.
