Maintenance
Routine maintenance is essential to ensure that the paint sprayer continues to
function correctly.
Activity
Interval
Inspect the motor cooling fins for any
dirt.
Daily or every time the equipment is
used.
Inspect/clean the filters and strainer and
the gun filter.
Daily or every time the equipment is
used.
Note:
Make sure that no water penetrates the motor cooling fins. The fins are designed to
cool the mechanical parts and electronics. If water enters, the equipment may crack
and be permanently damaged.
High pressure hoses
Inspect the high pressure hoses before each use. Never attempt to repair the hoses if
the connections are damaged. Do not use hoses shorter than 7.6 metres. Use two
spanners to tighten the connections.
Nozzles
•
Always clean the nozzles with a suitable cleaning fluid and a brush after each use.
•
Nozzles may require replacement after between 57 and 227 litres depending on the
material they have been used with.
