Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
Engine will not start
Check the ON/OFF switch is set to ON.
Check the fuel level.
Check to see whether the oil alarm is activated – this
prevents starting and stops the engine if the oil level
is too low.
The engine stops
Check the fuel supply.
Engine lacks power
Check the state of the air filter.
Insufficient vibration
Make sure that the V-belt operates correctly.
The compactor does not
move freely
Check the underside of the compactor plate for
accumulated material.
Bearings:
The following bearings are sealed:
Centrifugal coupling – lubricated with grease
Compactor - oil bath
