Speed Setting
The speed can be adjusted by turning the speed
selector dial (8) (Fig. 11). Adjust to suit the work piece/
material being cut. The saw’s speed can be adjusted
from 400 to 1,600 SPM (strokes per minute).
Turn the machine On by pressing the green
On ( I ) button (9)
Rotate the speed selector dial (8) clockwise
direction “H” for a higher or faster speed.
Rotate the speed selector dial (8) anti-clockwise direction “L” for a lower or
slower speed.
Turn the machine Off by pressing the red Off (O) button (9).
note:
By using a scrap piece of timber to determine the optimum speed by making
a trial cut will increase the life of the saw blade.
dust extraction port
This feature will allow attachment (I/D 31mm; O/D 35mm) of a vacuum hose for easy
sawdust collection. Over time a build up of sawdust can accumulate behind the dust
port (10) if dust extraction is not used, this should be checked periodically.
WarninG!
Always ensure that the variable speed scroll saw is switch off
and disconnect from mains power supply before making any adjustments.
Loosen, not remove the screw on the right holding
the cover panel (13) in place (Fig. 12).
Remove the remaining screw on the left holding
the cover panel (13) in place.
The cover panel (13) can know be removed from
the body of the saw.
Using a brush or vacuum clean away the sawdust
and any broken blades that may have accumulated.
Replace cover panel (13) when finished cleaning.
note:
Removing the cover panel (13) gives easy access to the lower blade holder,
and will aid in the fitting of blades. Always replace cover panel (13) before operating
the saw.
