you use it.

2.  Keep the safety devices free of dirt and dust as much as

possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth.

3.  Clean the appliance regularly with a damp cloth and some soft

soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these may be

aggressive to the plastic parts in the appliance. Ensure that no

water can get into the interior of the appliance.

Lubrication

1.  Regularly remove shavings from the depth setting chains,

reduction drive and lifting screws for the blade holder.

REDUCES THE SERVICE LIFE OF THE MACHINE.

WARNING!

THE BLADE HOLDER BEARINGS ARE

SEALED AND MUST NOT BE LUBRICATED.

should be replaced prior to recommencing use of the tool.

Carbon brushes are a wearing component of the tool, and

are not covered under warranty. Continuing to use the tool when

the carbon brush needs to be replaced may cause permanent

damage to the tool. Carbon brushes will wear out after many uses

but when the carbon brush needs to be replaced, take the tool to

an electrician or a power tool repairer for a quick and low cost

replacement.
