Setting Up The Vehicles

1.  Place both vehicles into 

Park (for an automatic 

transmission) or Neutral 

(for a manual). Apply the 

handbrake.

2.  Turn off any power draining functions (such as the stereo, 

headlights, interior lighting etc.) and then turn the engines of 

both vehicles off. Disconnect any phones, chargers, GPS units, 

computers etc.

WARNING! 

ENSURE THAT THE TWO VEHICLES 

ARE NOT TOUCHING IN ANY WAY. VEHICLES IN 

CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER COULD ESTABLISH 

A GROUND CONNECTION AND CAUSE PERSONAL 

INJURY TO THE USER OR BYSTANDERS.
