5. TROUBLESHOOTING

AC Appliances

Check the total rating of the appliance to be connected and ensure 

the rating of the appliance(s) does not exceed the rating of the 

generator.

1.  Start the generator and ensure 

the AC power indicator lights up. 

Allow the engine to stabilise before 

connecting appliances.

2.  Check that the appliance 

and the AC power switch are 

switched off.

3.  Plug the appliance into 

either of the AC sockets.

4.  Flip the AC power switch 

to the on position and then 

you can start using the 

equipment.

Note:

 If the connected appliance does not operate, refer to the 

Overload Indicator (RED)

sections for troubleshooting.

USB Output

The generator has 2 USB outlets that supply 1.0A and 2.1A 

respectively. These are always on once the generator is started. 

Connect the device to be 

charged/powered via a USB 

cable (not supplied) to the USB 

port.

Note: 

The USB outlets provides 

power only, it does not 

provide any communication 

capabilities. A suitable USB 

cable must be used (not included).

Maintenance

Refer to the Maintenance Manual for maintenance instructions. 

The instructions should be followed to ensure optimum operation.
