Cleaning
1. We recommend that you clean the appliance immediately after
you use it.
2. Keep the safety devices free of dirt and dust as much as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth.
3. Clean the appliance regularly with a damp cloth and some soft
soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these may be
aggressive to the plastic parts in the appliance. Ensure that no
water can get into the interior of the appliance.
Cleaning The Spray Gun
WARNING!
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CLEAN THE SPRAY
GUN THOROUGHLY AFTER EACH USE. FAILURE TO DO
SO WILL CAUSE BLOCKAGES WHICH WILL PREVENT
THE TOOL FROM WORKING & VOID THE WARRANTY.
If oil based paint was used, use a solvent such as turps
for cleaning. If water based paint was used, use water for
cleaning.
1. Empty the paint pot of remaining material & fill with appropriate
cleaning solution.
2. Connect the spray gun to the air supply and spray the cleaner
onto a scrap piece of cardboard. Repeat this procedure until the
solution coming out of the gun runs clear.
3. Disconnect the air supply.
4. Remove the paint pot and rinse until clean.
5. Unscrew the nozzle. Dip
a clean cloth in cleaning
solution and use this to clean
the nozzle parts and gun
housing.
6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before re-assembling.
Storage
Disconnect the air tools from the air hose and make sure that it is
secured in such a way that it cannot be started up again by any
unauthorised person. Store the tools in a dry location which is not
accessible to unauthorised persons.
