9. Removal and disposal
When the product reaches the end of its
service life or has an irreparable defect, it must
be dismantled and disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner or the
components must be recycled.

environmentally friendly manner.

If possible, recycle the components.

10. Appendix
10.1 Installation of the heat meter
Commercially available heat meters with
flat sealing connections are suitable.
When sizing your pump, bear in mind that
the pressure loss in the system increases
when a heat meter is used.

Shut off the differential pressure regulator

Shut off the ball valve for the return pipe

Loosen the couplings at the heat meter
spacer (position

Remove the heat meter spacer.
5.
If you are using a heat meter with a length
of 110 mm, remove the reducers from the
heat meter spacer and fit them to the heat
meter.
6.
Clean the connections if necessary.
7.
Mount the heat meter between the
couplings.
Use new flat seals.
8.
Tighten the couplings.
9.
Lead seal the housing of the heat meter
and the union nut of the coupling.
10.
Set the differential pressure regulator.
11.
Open the ball valve for the return pipe.
12.
Bleed the system (see par. 7.1 on page
25).
13.
Check the tightness.
