4.8.5. Replacing the Bracket of the S-type Wheel Lock

Open the central screw connection of the S-type wheel lock and remove the nuts (Fig. 60). 

Remove the bracket and replace it with a new one. Check the wheel lock for firm fit and 

proper function.

4.8.6. Maintenance of the Performance Wheel Lock

If the Performance wheel lock gets stuck during the return function, lubrication of the guide 

will normally be sufficient (if not, the wheel lock must be replaced, refer to section 4.8..).

Use a light oil such as sewing machine oil and apply it into the body of the Performance 

wheel lock by spraying or drizzling (Fig. 6). Check for easy function by opening and clos-

ing the wheel lock. Repeat the procedure until it is easy again to open and lock the wheel 

lock.
