Loosen the nut (Fig. 8, item A) of the quick-release axle housing (Fig. 8, item B)
on the inside of the frame, until the tapered washers can be spread apart slightly.
Now you can move the quick-release axle housing with nuts and tapered washers
into the desired position. Let the lug of the tapered washers engage in the new
desired orientation and firmly re-tighten the nut (Fig. 8, item A). The torque for the
hexagon nuts (Fig. 8, items A, C) is 0 Nm.
Ensure the position/orientation of the tapered camber washers are not changed
and that both the left and right rear wheel quick-release axle housings are set in
the same vertical position.
Please be aware that changes in the rear wheel position will effect both the angle
of the caster wheel journal in relation to the ground, which may then have to be
altered so the forks are at 90°, and the wheel lock effectiveness, which will require
re-adjustment.
The distance between rear wheel and side panel can be continuously adjusted by
adjusting the rear wheel fitting (Fig. 8, item B).
Ensure all screws and nuts are firmly re-tightened after making adjustments!
Adjusting the Rear Wheel in the Rear Wheel Adapter XXL 2
Loosen and remove the nut (Fig. 6, item 1) of the rear wheel fitting (Fig. 6, item 2) on the inside
of the frame. The possible positions result from defined bore holes in the rear wheel adapter
(Fig. 64, item ).
