Increasing compression (only Air Walker high, Air Walker low and
Achilles Walker models)
CAUTION
Pumping up the air cushion too much
Risk of local pressure and constriction of blood vessels and nerves due to
excessively tight application

Only fill the air cushion with enough air to impede relative movements
between the body part and the orthosis.
►
Inform the patient.
1) To inflate, turn the rotary valve to the right [ Inflate ] (see Fig. 18, item 1).
2) Press the pump as often as required to achieve the desired compression
(see Fig. 18, item 2).

Optional:
to deflate, turn the rotary valve to the left [ Deflate ] (see
Fig. 18, item 1).
4.4 Cleaning
Clean the orthosis regularly:
Textile component:
1) Remove the textile component from the orthosis.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Hand wash the textile component in warm water at 30 °C with a stand
ard mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. sunshine, stove or
radiator).
Composite component/heel wedge:
1) Wipe with a damp cloth as needed.
2) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. sunshine, stove or
radiator).
5 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
