2.5 Water resistance
The knee protector is waterproof.
No water resistance test was performed.
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
Use the knee protector as protective equipment for kneeling activities. The
performance level 1 knee protector is suitable for even and uneven ground
surfaces and provides protection against punctures at a force of at least 100
± 5N. The knee protector is not suitable for sharp surfaces. Depending on
the personal performance of work, the user must wear additional personal
protective equipment according to the task. The protection capability has to
be checked in advance or agreed with the manufacturer in each individual
case.
3.2 Restrictions for use
Protection according to EN 14404:2010-05 is only ensured when worn in
combination with the specified work trousers. The required protection is not
guaranteed when worn in combination with another product.
The knee protector is not resistant to chemicals, heat or fire.
The knee protector is not intended to protect against difficult ground condi­
tions, such as sharp-edged stones in mines or quarries.
The knee protector is designed for a body weight of up to
100 kg
.
► CAUTION! Product performance may be reduced for persons with
a body weight over 100 kg.
3.3 Storage
Store the knee protector in a dry place and protected from UV light.
3.4 Expiration time
The maximum expiration time of the product is 5 years from the date of man­
ufacture.
