ShRIMP SPREAD
3 ounces (85 g) cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice
1 can (4¼ ounces or 120 g) broken
shrimp pieces, rinsed and drained
¼ tsp. (1 ml) dill weed
1 sprig parsley, stem removed
2 Tbsp. (30 ml) mayonnaise
Assemble Food Processor Accessory according to instructions. Place all ingredients
in processor bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover, process until mixture is
smooth. Refrigerate. Serve on crackers or snack rye bread.
yield: ¾ Cup (185 ml)
SMOKEY BRIE SPREAD
4 slices bacon, fried crisp
2 Tbsp. (30 ml) milk
8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, room
temperature
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice
4½ ounces (125 g) Brie cheese, room
temperature
Assemble Food Processor Accessory according to instructions. Place bacon in
processor bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover, process until finely chopped.
Remove cover and add all remaining ingredients. Cover and process until smooth.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
yield: Approximately 1 ½ Cups (375 ml)
