Although the lamp will operate in standard fluorescent fixtures, it should not be used for
general lighting applications.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS EQUIPMENT IN A DWELLING. This product is for professional
use only.

This product is most effective on surfaces directly exposed to the light; soiled surfaces,
porous materials or recessed areas may not be disinfected.

UV-C can age non-metallic materials such as plastic, rubber, paint, etc., and can damage
plants. Shield all non-metallic materials exposed under UV-C light when using the product.
—
This product is not suitable for the cleaning, disinfection or sterilization of medical devices.
—
Insufficient UV-C dose may not achieve the intended disinfection effect. It is the responsibility
of the user to measure UV-C irradiance to ensure the required UV-C dose is attained in the
workspace.

This product shall be maintained regularly by a qualified service technician. Always disconnect
power to the product during maintenance and repair.
—
The UV-C intensity of this product is determined according to the service time of the lamp.
When the accumulative service time of the UV-C lamp exceeds its effective lifetime, the lamp
must be replaced to achieve the intended disinfection.

When using this product, keep the germicidal space clean and dry, close the doors and
windows, and avoid outdoor air circulation.
—
The original design and testing of this product is based on the use of an OSRAM G30T8/OF
(PURITEC HNS 30W G13) UV-C germicidal lamp. Use of an alternate light source as a
replacement can result in lower UV-C radiant output.

OSRAM germicidal HNS lamps contain mercury. Please follow local regulations when disposing of
a used lamp.
