4.6 Primary and Secondary Air Adjustment
This unit is equipped with both primary and secondary air adjustment mechanisms. These may be accessed
through the bottom of the unit.
Primary Air Adjustment
1. Open the lower louvre.
2. Remove the two (2) 5/16” hex head screws from the front and right sides of the orifice well cover (see
Figure 4.4).
3. To adjust the primary air, loosen the Phillips screw on the Venturi tube and adjust as required (see Figure
4.5). Tighten the screw after the adjustment is complete.
4. Reassemble in the reverse order.

Secondary Air Adjustment
1. Open the lower louvre.
2. Remove the control panel (Figure 2.1) by removing the four (4) Phillips screws which secure it in place,
and sliding the panel to the right.
3. The adjusters are each held in place with one (1) 5/16” hex head screw. To change the position of each,
loosen the appropriate screw and slide the adjusters to their new position. Tighten each screw when done
(see Figure 4.6).
4. Re-assemble in the reverse order.
