FLEXION-EXTENSION ADJUSTMENT
Remove the screws that hold the flexion/extension wedges in place (fig. A)
Remove any pre-inserted wedges
Insert the wedges with the desired degrees of flexion/extension (fig. B)
such that the notches on the wedges coincide with the slots on the brace
Reinsert the screws, making sure they properly fit into the slots.
Securely tighten (fig. A).
Make sure that the flexion or extension wedges are set to the same degrees
on both joints.
ADJUSTING THE STOP – 0°/10°/20°/30° (OPTIONAL)
Remove the screws that hold the flexion/extension wedges in place (fig. A)
Remove any pre-inserted wedges.
First insert the extension wedge (the one with only one notch), then the flexion wedge
(the one with two notches).
If there are any difficulties inserting the second wedge, scrape off any paint present
in the brace slot or file the wedge notches.
Reinsert the screws, making sure they properly fit into the slots. Securely tighten (fig. A).
Make sure that the flexion or extension wedges are set to the same degrees on both joints.
