FLEXION-EXTENSION ADJUSTMENT
PP3 ONLY:
Remove the screws that hold the flexion/extension wedges in place (fig. H).
Remove any pre-inserted wedges.
Insert the wedges with the desired degrees of flexion/extension (fig. I)
such that the notches on the wedges coincide with the slots on the brace.
Reinsert the screws, making sure they properly fit into the slots. Securely tighten (fig. H).
Make sure that the flexion or extension wedges are set to the same degrees
on both joints.
PP4 ONLY:
Open the hinge cover by sliding the two half-covers to the side (fig. L), remove the central
locking component (fig. M) and insert/replace the wedges to the required degree of
flexion/extension (fig. N)
Replace the central locking component (fig. M) and slide the two half-covers towards the
centre until they securely “click” into place (fig. L)
IN CASE OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE STOP 0°/10°/20°/30°
First insert the extension wedge (the one with only one notch), then the flexion wedge
(the one with two notches).
If there are any difficulties inserting the second wedge, scrape off any paint present in
the brace slot or file the wedge notches.
REMOVING THE BUCKLES (OPTIONAL)
Remove the pad from the frame;
From the inside, undo the screw belonging to the buckle you wish to remove;
Remove the rivet and the buckle.
