MAINTENANCE  

10.1

 

Routine maintenance  

Routine maintenance can be carried out independently by the machinery operator. A regular a 
careful  maintenance  preserves  the  machinery  and  extends  its  life  cycle.  Failures  and 
malfunctions often require higher costs in terms of time and money than those borne to properly 
maintain  the  machinery.  When  a  planned  maintenance  activity  has  to  be  performed,  an  icon 
blinks on the display panel until the machinery is serviced. Planned maintenance activities are 
planned after 500 and 1000 work hours.  
 

 

It is responsibility of the owner of the machinery and/or the person in 
charge of safety to make sure maintenance and repairs are performed by 
qualified and properly trained personnel. 

Maintenance activities shall be performed only when the machinery has 
come to a complete stop.  
Perform just the maintenance activities described in these instructions for 
use. In case of need (mechanical failure, track replacement), apply to the 
customer service only. 

 

 

 

SPX424CDH – Turn off the engine before performing any maintenance. Let 
it cool down before maintenance unless otherwise required (oil change). 
Burn hazard – do not touch not surfaces. (Refer to the engine instructions).  

SPX424CDH – Do not use petrol or other flammable substances to clean 
the engine.  

SPX424CDH – As for engine maintenance activities always refer to the 
instructions for use delivered by the manufacturer of the engine supplied 
together with the machinery.  

Do not tamper with or change the setting of any electric or hydraulic 
component.  

WARNING!!! ANY MODIFICATION OR TAMPERING WITH THE MACHINERY 
COMPONENTS TO IMPROVE ITS PERFORMANCES BUT WHICH MAY 
AFFECT THE SAFETY CONDITIONS OF THE MACHINERY ARE STRICTLY 
FORBIDDEN. 

 

 
Washing 

 

Do  not  use  degreasers  and/or  acid  detergents.  The  machinery  shall  be  washed  by  using 
cleansers for painted surfaces. Carefully protect:  

•

  Workstation  

•

  Battery compartment  

•

  Control panel and relative electrical cabinets 

•

  Electrical motors. 

 
 

 

IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO USE WATER JETS DIRECTLY ON WIRING, 
PLUGS, MOTORS AND ELECTRONIC BOARDS.
