Installation after Drywall
Slip the trim ring through the hole in the drywall and into the port
opening. You may need to rotate it slightly to get it to seat into
place. Using the three supplied screws and a #1 phillips screw-
driver, fasten the trim ring to the port opening so that it fits snugly
against the ceiling surface.
Mounting the Grille
The DSUB6 4” Port Tube kit comes with a round and square
grille so that you can pick the one that best matches the rest of
the room’s interior design. Simply fit the selected grille over the
speaker and it will be held in place with magnets.

Installation
IMPORTANT
These instructions are intended for new construction installs but
you can use them for retrofit installs provided you have access to
the space behind the port opening. The DSUB6 enclosure should
already be installed with the open end of port tube reaching its
desired location.
Installation before Drywall
Use the 8 supplied screws to
attach the port tube to the en-
closure.
The Mini Port Bracket will serve
as your new construction brack-
et. You can attach it directly to
a joist or use the supplied new
construction wings to position
it precisely where you want it.
Once the port tube is secured at each end, test the wired DSUB6
to see that it’s working properly. If you are using 2 channels of
input, make sure to test both.
