HOW TO USE THE STOPWATCH
• The stopwatch measures up to 40 minutes in 1/100-second increments.
• The stopwatch will continue measuring time for up to 2 hours. Once 2
hours have passed, the stopwatch will automatically stop.
• The stopwatch time can be read using the stopwatch 1/10 second hand
and 1/100 second hand located at the 12 o’clock position, the stopwatch
second hand located in the center, and the stopwatch minute hand located
at the 6 o’clock position.
• The stopwatch has a split time function.
• The stopwatch minute hand (total of 40 minutes) uses a retrograde
mechanism. The hand returns to the one-minute position when 41 minutes
have elapsed, and the stopwatch will continue measuring the time. When
81 minutes have elapsed, the hand returns to the one-minute position
again, and automatically stops after 120 minutes elapse.
* The stopwatch 1/10 and 1/100 second hands move for the first 3 minutes
after the stopwatch is started. However, after 3 minutes elapse, the hands
will remain at the “0” position and measure the time when the stopwatch is
stopped or the split time function is used.
[How to read the stopwatch hands]
The time measured is indicated by the four stopwatch hands (minute, second,
1/10-second and 1/100-second hands).
<Note on adjusting the stopwatch hand position>
• If the stopwatch hands do not return to “0” position when the stopwatch
is reset, follow the procedure in “
SETTING THE TIME AND
ADJUSTING THE STOPWATCH HAND POSITION” to reset them.
• In that case, be sure to adjust the hands for time display to the current
time.
