TIP:
Before mounting the Kitchen Companion under the counter, it is highly recommended
to check if the speakerphone and radio work well at the mounting location first.
Plug the AC power converter into an electrical outlet and the DC connector into the back of the
Kitchen Companion.
CAUTION:
Use only the Oregon Scientific power converter that came with this
unit. Using other power converters may damage the unit.
1. Place the handset into the cradle.
2. The charge indicator on the Kitchen Companion turns on to indicate the handset battery is
charging.
3.
Allow the handset to charge for 12 hours prior to first use. If you don’t properly charge the
handset, battery performance is compromised.
