Check
1. Verify that your microphone has the proper
impedance or is too sensitive. The SoundWave
32Pro expects a microphone with an impedance
of approximately 600-10K ohms.
2. Verify that the software used to record, and the
Windows temporary directory are not on a drive
that is using a disk doubling utility.
3. Turn up the microphone input level.
4. Make sure that the microphone is selected as the
recording source.
Symptom 6
Wave files do not play correctly in Windows.
Check
1. In the SYSTEM.INI file in the Windows directory,
under the [drivers] portion of the file, verify that
the WAVE=WPPSA.DRV and AUX=WPPSA.DRV
lines are present.
2. Verify that the settings for the SoundWave 32Pro
driver in Windows are not in conflict with an-
other hardware device.
Symptom 7
MIDI files do not play correctly in Windows.
Check
1. In the SYSTEM.INI file in the Windows direc-
tory, under the [drivers] portion of the file, verify
that the MIDI=WPPSA.DRV line is present.
2. Verify that the settings for the SoundWave 32Pro
driver in Windows are not in conflict with an-
other hardware device.
