Righteous 3D II User's Manual
Scanline Interleaving (SLI)
-
Doubles the 3D performance and
enables resolutions up to 1024x768.
This is accomplished by connecting
two Righteous 3D II’s of the same
configuration together with an inter-
nal cable. The cards automatically
enter Scanline Interleave (SLI) mode
and every odd line of the image is
rendered by one, the even line is ren-
dered by the other card.
Texture Filtering
- Removing
aliasing artifacts, such as sparkles and
blockiness, through interpolation of
stored texture images.
Texture Mapping
- Wrapping tex-
tures around objects to add realism
or to reduce complexity.
Z-Buffering
- A process of removing
hidden surfaces using the depth
value stored in the Z-buffer.
