Notes
• When using a commercially available USB interface cable, use a Type A USB cable
that is less than 3 meters long.
• Do not disconnect the USB cable while the operation indicator on the external
device is flashing and do not turn off this or any external device. Data in the external
device may be damaged. We are not responsible for any damage or loss of data.
• A USB hub or USB device with a built-in USB hub may not work properly.
• Encoded or compressed data based on fingerprint identification or password input
cannot be used with this unit.
• Use a USB cable with the USB logo.
Recording (PVR)
The device allows you to record a watched or other favorite program to a connected
USB memory device. Make sure there is enough free space on the USB device.
Connect the USB device before the scheduled recording when the device is turned off
or on.
Instant Upload
The
z
button (
red dot
) allows immediate recording of the currently viewed program.
Recording is only possible when a USB memory device with sufficient free space for
recording is connected.
Start recording
Press
z
to start instant recording.
A red recording indicator
z
and a progress bar appear in the upper right corner of the
screen.
During recording, press
INFO
to display the recording information.
Stop recording
You can stop recording at any time during recording.
Press
x
to display a confirmation message if you really want to stop recording. Select
Yes and press
OK
to stop recording or No and press OK to continue.
