Inserting/replacing the batteries in the remote control
The unit can be operated with the supplied remote control.
Insert two AAA size batteries into the remote control according to the correct po and -.
When using the remote control, point it at the sensor to receive signals
from the remote control on the device within an angle of up to 60 °. Otherwise, the DO
may not work.
Replacing the battery
If the remote control no longer controls the device, the batteries may be weak. In this
case, replace the batteries as follows.
Open the battery compartment cover at the back of the remote.
Remove the batteries and insert new batteries of the same type according to the
correct po and -. Always replace both batteries.
Notes
• Do not leave the remote control in very hot or humid places.
• Do not use an old battery.
• Make sure that no object gets into the remote control, especially during battery
replacement.
• Do not place the device so that the remote sensor is exposed to direct sunlight or
light from lamps. Otherwise, malfunctions may occur when operating with the remote
control.
• If you will not be using the remote control for an extended period of time, remove the
batteries to prevent battery leakage and corrosion.
