Installation
(figures 2 and 3)
– The distance between the hot and cold water inlets at the back of the Electra touchless wall
faucet is 150 ± 3 mm, and the thread on the inlet union nut is G 3/4. Hot water is connected to
the left and cold water to the right.
– Attach the spout (1) to the faucet body and tighten the locking screw (2) with a 2 mm Allen key,
as shown in figure 3.
– Fix the litter filters in place and attach the faucet.
– Remove the protective tape from the sensor.
– Open the water inlet to the faucet.
– Check that the joints are tight and the faucet operates by placing your hand in front
of the sensor, when water will start to flow.
During the installation always remember to check the settings and functions of the device.
If necessary adjust the settings to correspond with the use and conditions.
Any basin that the Electra is installed on must not be fitted with a plug.
Battery
Battery-operated Electras use a 6-volt battery that lasts approximately 5 years (c. 200 washes/day).
Changing the battery
(figure 4)
– Close the water inlet to the faucet by simultaneously lifting and turning the temperature
adjustment handle, clockwise as far as it goes.
– Detach the electronics casing by undoing the locking screw (3) with a 2 mm Allen key and turning
the casing 90° clockwise.
– Detach the clip (4) holding the electronics box (5) inside the casing and then lift the box out of the
casing.
– Undo the screws (7) from the cover (6) of the electronics box and open the cover.
– Change the battery.
– Reassemble in reverse order.
– Open the water inlet to the faucet by turning the temperature adjustment handle anti-clockwise.
Limiting the mixed water temperature
(figure 5)
The Electra temperature limiter has five different settings (factory default as in figure 5).
Set the temperature limit as follows:
– Remove the temperature adjustment handle by lifting it upwards.
– Withdraw the limiter (8) from its hole and replace it in the correct hole for the required
temperature limitation.
– Replace the temperature adjustment handle.
Cleaning/changing the litter filters
(figure 6)
If water flow has diminished over time, this may be due to dirt in the litter filters.
They can be cleaned as follows:
– Close the water inlet to the faucet.
– Demount the faucet.
– Clean the litter filters under running water. Change for new filters if necessary.
– Replace the filters.
– Remount the faucet.
– Open the water inlet to the faucet.
