Recognition range
– Remove the control-box cover.
– Push the button (15).
– Position a piece of white paper (e.g. the installation instructions) vertically in front of the faucet,
at
the distance at which the photocell is intended to react
(e.g. at the outer edge of the basin).
– Hold the paper at this distance. Water will start to flow after about 30 seconds.
PULL THE PAPER AWAY AFTER THE WATER FLOW HAS STOPPED!
– The sensing range is now set and stored.
– This information will not be lost from the memory due to a power failure.
– Should the distance prove unsatisfactory, simply readjust by changing the position of
the piece of paper.
– Replace the control-box cover.
– The recognition range can also be adjusted using the Oras Data Terminal
(v. 2.4 or later).
After-flow time
(factory-set to 1 second)
– After-flow time can be adjusted using the Oras Data Terminal (v. 2.4 or later).
Limiting the maximum water temperature
(see Figure 5)
The max. water temperature can be
fixed from cold to the mid-range area of the adjustment range.
This is done as follows:
– Turn the temperature regulating handle (25) so that the wing points downward.
– Unscrew the locking screw (26) for the temperature regulating handle, using a 2 mm Allen key.
– Pull off the temperature regulating handle.
– Remove the interlock disc (27) and turn it 180°.
– Replace the interlock disc so that the locking pins completely enter the corresponding holes (28)
in the valve housing.
– Install the temperature regulating handle with the wing down.
– Screw in the locking screw for the temperature regulating handle.
Cleaning the filter and the aerator
If the water flow has decreased, this may be because the filter is clogged. Clean the filter as follows:
Cleaning the filter
6110
(see Figures 1 and 3)
– Shut off the water supply to the faucet.
– Remove the connecting hose (7) from the control box.
– Unscrew the connecting nipple (8) and remove the strainer from the nipple.
– Clean the strainer under running water.
– Reassemble the parts.
6114
(see Figure 5)
– Shut off the water supply to the faucet.
– Unscrew the nipples (8) from the valve housing and clean or change the strainer (18)
– Reassemble the parts.
Cleaning the aerator
(see Figure 6)
– Unscrew the aerator (30) with a special key (31).
– Clean the strainer under running water and replace if necessary.
