Sun Fire V125 Server Service Manual • September 2006

Fans

The Sun Fire V125 server has four 40 mm fans mounted side by side. Three of these
cool the system board, while the fourth cools the PCI card area. All of these fans
plug into the system board individually. The fans can be removed from the server
without the use of tools.

1.11.1

Removing a Fan

1. Open the back section of the cover.
