TRANSFER OF PRE-RECORDED MESSAGES TO THE DC-800ETH
The paging desk incorporates an internal Micro SD memory with a capacity of 15 GB to store audio files to be used as pre-recorded
messages.
To save files in this internal memory requires a PC with the
PA Manager
software installed and equipped with a network card, and
connected to the DC-800ETH unit through a switch or directly using a network cable (see section
The allowed audio file formats are
wav
,
ogg
and
mp3.
Follow the
PA Manager
software user manual to copy the files to the Micro-SD memory of the DC-800ETH.
11.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
11.1.
User levels and changes
To restrict the access to specific functions of the paging desk, 3 user levels have been established. Basic, Operator and
Administrator.
Basic
Level by default when the paging desk is booted. Without an access code. Allows conducting basic operations such as broadcasting
live voice announcements or sending pre-recorded messages. It cannot modify the volume, configuration of music channels,
message recording, network addresses or adjust the display contrast.
Operator
With access code (by default
1234
). The access code may be changed via the
PA Manager
software; It must be a four-digit number.
In addition to all the permissions granted to the basic user, he can configure the volume of the zones (except the emergency
volume), modify the music channels, record messages and or adjust the contrast of the display. It cannot modify the emergency
volume, or network addresses.
Administrator
With access code (by default
1234
). Without restrictions. The access code may be changed via the
PA Manager
software.
