To display Account Manager web page, click

 Maintenance > Account Manager 

This page allow user to add or delete switch local user database for authenticating.

   

 

User Name: 

User name for new account.   

Password Type: 

Select password type for new account.   

 

Clear Text: Password without encryption   

 

Encrypted: Password with encryption   

 

No Password: No password for the new account.   

Password: 

If the password type is not “No Password”, the password must be specified.   

Retype  Password: 

Retype  password  to  make  sure  the  password  is  exactly  you  typed 

before in “Password” field.   

Privilege Type: 

Select privilege level for new account.   

 

Admin: Allow to change switch settings.   

 

User: See switch settings only. Not allow to change it. 

If AAA feature is enabled, we have one more privilege type to allow user adding privilege 

value for this account.   

 

User Name:
