6.2.2 Red / Blue LCD panel unit focus adjustment
Before performing this adjustment, make sure Green LCD panel unit focus
adjustment is complete.
1. Switch the projector on and project the adjustment pattern on the screen.
2. Block unnecessary light by inserting paper, etc. In the panel so that only the Red or Blue
light is projected.
3. Loosen the 4 screws “B” (Figure 1) with the screwdriver.
4. Insert the slot type screwdriver in the sites
and
(Figure 1) and gently turn the
screwdriver until the screen
and
(Figure 2) are in the sharp focus.
5. Tighten the 4 screws “B” (previously loosened in step 3) and securely attach the Red or
Blue panel unit.
6. Compare the projected image with the Green panel image. If the sizes of both images
coincide with each other, adjustment is complete. If not, repeat steps 3 to 6 above.
