5. Con fi guration
The parameters of the card can be con fi gured by using the keyboard of the UMX-01/0 (standalone mode)
or by means of a PC connected to the UMX-01/0, using the SMP-250V2 (SCF-01 or SCM-01) software. To
make con fi guration easier, the option by means of a PC is recommended:
From the installation display, right-click with the mouse on the UMX-01 which
contains the UMX94R card that you wish to con fi gure and select add.
A window appears in which the following parameters must be con fi gured:

Slot : This is numbered automatically. If the value does not correspond to
the slot in which the card is inserted in the UMX-01/0, modify this value
manually (values between 1 and
10).

Enabled : Keep this box activated.

Decoder Address : Through this para-
meter the zones to which the desks
connected to this UMX94R card have
access can be de fi ned.
If this parameter is left blank (without
being con fi gured), the desks will
have access to all the zones without
any restriction (default option), bea-
ring in mind that a UMX-01 group in
a shared bus can have a maximum of
240 zones.
If you wish to complete it, enter va-
lues between 1 and 20. Each number
allows access to a group of 24 zones.
The table below shows which zones
these values correspond to.
Through a SMP94 BUS the SMP-94RS
microphone desks are connected to a
UMX-01/0 matrix by means of a
UMX-94R card. If the UMX-01/
0 units are connected by
means of the expansion
BUS and the RS485
BUS, it is possible to
send messages to
any zone of the
various UMX-
01/0 units.
It is NOT possible to use the UMX-94R
card in installations with CENTRAL PAGING
format. In these installations, the SMP-94RS only
operates at LOCAL level.
