9.4. SENDING CONFIGURATIONS TO THE UNIT
Remember: When configurations are sent to the unit, as well as when the unit is started up in the installation, it is necessary to have
a PC connected to the SU-114, either through SWITCH or through a crossed network cable.
1.- Open the
File
menu and click on
Save.
2.- On the installation tree, right click with the mouse on the SU-114N that has just been configured and
select the option
Send configurations
.
3.- A progress bar appears. Upon completion, click on
OK
.
You can exit the Installation screen by opening the
File
menu and selecting
Exit
. The PA Manager
software will start up automatically.
10. SURVEILLANCE REPORTS
Through the PA Manager software, it is possible to generate reports about the behaviour over time of the
loudspeaker lines and the critical path of an installation.
In this way, and through a graphic representation, users can quickly learn of exactly when an error
occurred on the line or critical path.
The software supports printout of the report or export to other formats (PDF, Word, Excel…).
Prior to the generation of reports, it is necessary to install some libraries on the control PC. To
perform this installation, follow the steps defined in section 10.1
10.1. LIBRARY INSTALLATION FOR THE GENERATION OF REPORTS
1.- Close the
PA Manager
(SMP250v2)
application if it is open.
2.- Open Windows Explorer
and navigate to the
directory
where
the
SMP250V2 software is
installed
(default
location is the folder
C:\SMP250v2
).
3.- Open the subfolder
bin
.
4.- Double click on the file
CRRedist2008_x86.msi
The installation process is
started. Once it has
finished, the PA Manager
software is ready to
generate surveillance
reports.
