USING AN EARPHONE
For private listening, plug an optional ear-
phone (not supplied) with a

/
8-
inch plug into
the recorder’s earphone jack. Your local Ra-
dioShack store has a wide selection of ear-
phones.
Note: Plugging in an earphone automatically
disconnects the recorder’s internal speaker.
Listening Safely
To protect your hearing, follow these guide-
lines when you use earphones.
• Set the volume to the lowest setting
before you begin listening. After you
begin listening, adjust the volume to a
comfortable level.
