can measure up to 5 kg. Overloading can cause irreparable
damage which qualifies as heavy handling.
• The item to be weighed must be placed in the middle of the
scale. Avoid asymmetric loading.
• If the LCD display shows „O-ld” or „H”, it means the item
you’re weighing is too heavy and is overloading the scales.
Remove it from the glass weighing surface immediately.
If the item you’re weighing cannot be put directly onto the
glass surface - perhaps because it’s a fine powder or a liquid -
then you may use an appropriately-sized light bowl. The scales
can automatically deduct the weight of this bowl (known as the
‘tare’), which avoids any need to weigh the bowl separately.
To weight items in a bowl, switch on the scales and wait for
the self-test. When the display shows zero, place the empty
bowl on the glass weighing surface. The bowl’s weight will be
displayed. Now touch the TARE button. This will automatically
compensate for the weight of the bowl and will cause the
display to show zero again. You can now weigh solids or
liquids that are placed in the bowl.
Important!
When weighing with tarring, you must respect the
maximum total load bearing capacity of 5 kg when loading the
weighing plate.
The device can also be used as a zero indicator because the
LCD-screen can display negative values e.g. if you want to
weigh identical weights during a series of measurements or the
difference from a reference gauge (excess or deficit of weight).
This can be done by using tarring measurement. In such cases
tarring must be performed after weighing a reference weight,
which must then be removed and a set of readings compared to
this first measurement.
The appliance will automatically switch itself off when you’ve
finished weighing. It can also be switched off by pressing the
ON/OFF button for a couple of seconds.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning!
It is very important not to immerse the device or
hold it under a jet of water!
• The kitchen scale’s external cover and the glass surface must
be wiped with a smooth, damp cloth which doesn’t leave
fibers, or is made of synthetic material. After cleaning wipe
the cover with a dry cloth. Ensure humidity or dirt does not
enter the device.
• When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone,
benzyl, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve the casing
material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into.
Do not use cleaning agents with coarse or grinding effect.
QUALITY CERTIFICATION
We certify that the ultra-slim digital kitchen scales meet the
following technical specifications:
Nominal operating voltage: DC 3V; 1xCR2032
Load: max. 5kg (11lbs)
Measuring resolution: 1g (0.1oz)
We are continuously developing our products to keep them
up-to-date, which means the technical data of our appliances
may change without any prior notice. Errors and omissions
excepted.
THE CE SYMBOL
This appliance meets the requirements for safety and
