USING YOUR CURLING IRON
PREPARING FOR USE
1. Remove all packaging and keep safe until satisfied with
your product.
2. DO NOT plug the power cord into outlet until ready to use.
3. Ensure that the hair is dry and tangle free before use.
USAGE
IMPORTANT: THIS IS A HIGH TEMPERATURE
PRODUCT. It is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
1. Place the curling iron on its “safety stand” making sure that
the surface is flat and heat resistant. This appliance will heat
up quickly so be careful when handling it.
2. Switch on and allow 10-15 minutes for it to reach the ideal
styling temperature.
3. Use a comb to untangle and separate hair 2’’ wide by 1/2’’
thick even sections.
4. Use the thumb press to open the clamp and place the end
of one section of hair evenly across the barrel and close the
clamp. For a smoother curling make sure the ends are under
the clamp.
5. Keep the section of hair tight, wind the barrel upward as far
as you would like the curl go. Be careful not to touch the
scalp with the hot barrel.
6. Hold the barrel in place for 10-15 seconds. The amount of
hair rolled each time has a dramatic effect on the type of curl
you will achieve. For ringlet curls use less hair and for loose
wavy curls add more hair.
7. Apply pressure to the thumb press to release the curl and
unwind the hair from the barrel.
8. To help fix the curls in place allow them to cool before final
styling. Learning new styling techniques may take some
time, experiment with your particular hair type and length
to achieve desired results.
IMPORTANT:
Unplug the curling iron after use, and let it
cool down on a heat resistant surface, allow it to cool in a safe
position. Do not leave the product unattended while plugged in.
This curling iron achieves very high salon temperatures.
