Applications
The RGN-3GSF regenerator/transponder holds up to four pluggable SFP modules to support bandwidth
provisioning, reach extension, and interface conversion applications. SFPs can be configured as separate
regenerators - where each SFP functions as an independent 2-port signal regenerator - or paired as
transponders - where two SFPs function as 4-port bidirectional signal regenerators.
