Holding the card by the faceplate, pull the card straight out of the slot and place it on a clean, flat
surface.

Configuring the RGN-3GSF using the display and control keys
The keypad and display combination allows you to view card and port status, and configure card and port
settings.
Note:
Operating the RGN-3GSF in a shelf where a management card is installed is defined as
operation
in a managed system
. When operating the RGN-3GSF in a managed system, the faceplate display can
only be used to view configuration settings and alarm messages, and the card can only be configured
using the ONM or OSM. For information, see “Configuring the RGN-3GSF using the ONM and OSM”
on page 19.
